Video Designations & Playback
Video Designations
When you have video depositions that need to be played back in court, Prevail has you covered. By sending us a list of the designations you wish to play, or a highlighted transcript, we can take those designations and create a succinct video that cuts out the unnecessary portions of the testimony to ensure a clean-cut video.
Exhibit Linking
Often during depositions witnesses are shown exhibits in hard copy format. Prevail can make sure that those exhibits are presented on the screen with the proper annotations to call out the sections of an exhibit that is being talked about. This makes it much easier for the judge, or jury to follow along and helps to keep them more engaged.
Designation List Reports & Transcript Reports
Often times the court will ask for a copy of the transcript with the designations that were played for their records. Prevail can provide designation or transcript reports that show the exact runtime of the video playback. These reports also break down the time that each side's designations were, as well as denoting initial designations, counter designations, counters to counter designations, and so forth.
A designation list report will be a transcript that shows only what was played during the video. While a transcript report will have the entire deposition but will highlight which portions were played during the video. These reports also use different highlighters to indicate which designations belong to whom.
